Man with gun demanded McDonald’s job aplication
He is either mentally ill, or the stupidest guy on the planet (or both)!
Police said a man who demanded a job application at gunpoint last week didn’t get an interview. He got arrested. Tevin Kievelle Monroe, 31, was charged with brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct in the incident at the McDonald’s on St. Paul’s Boulevard, across from Scope, police said. All the charges are misdemeanors. It all began when Monroe walked into the restaurant last Wednesday and asked the manager for an application, police said. After the manager explained twice that the application process is handled online, Monroe lifted his shirt to reveal a gun tucked in his waistband. The manager then asked him to have a seat while she retrieved a paper application. Monroe was sitting at a table when officers arrested him without incident. He was processed into the city jail.
Let’s face it though, he probably doesn’t have a computer or if he does he probably don’t have the means to connect to the internet. I think the smartest thing for him to do is to pawn the gun and get credit towards a cheap laptop computer and just piggyback someone’s wifi. Assuming he gets the gun back or maybe a cop with pity on him could do it for him.
That weird story reminds me of this guy:
This overeager jobseeker noticed the Technical Director of a company had died, and then mistook that as a chance to get his foot in the door by applying for the deceased’s job. His cover letter stated “Each time I apply for a job, I get a reply that there’s no vacancy but in this case I have caught you red-handed and you have no excuse because I even attended the funeral to be sure that he was truly dead and buried before applying.
