Barack Obama has won more Grammy Awards than Justin Bieber

Grammy award is for articulating or narrating non-musical works and includes dramas, audio books, poetry readings and story-telling. It was first awarded in 1959.

Barack Obama has won twice. First in 2006 for Dreams of My Father and second in 2008 for The Audacity of Hope.

He was both author and performer for these two audio books. The former is a memoir of his younger days while the latter is based on his 2008 campaign for the US presidency.

Justin Bieber, meanwhile, has won the Grammy only once to date. His track Where Are U Now done together with the DJs Skrillex and Diplo won in 2016 in the Best Dance Recording category.

The award is for ‘quality vocal or instrumental dance music performance’.

Bieber may well win more Grammys in the future but um … who is to say that Obama won’t maintain his lead? 🙂
