Courtney Cox’s new horror comedy has been picked up by Starz. Entertainment Weekly reports that Starz has picked up the show for eight half-hour episodes.
Shining Vale comes from Jeff Astrof (Trial & Error’s) and Sharon Horgan (Divorce). It also stars Greg Kinnear and Mina Sorvino.
It is about a “dysfunctional family who moves from the city to a house in a small town where terrible atrocities occurred in the past.”
Patricia or Pat (Cox) is a former wild child turned self help writer. Pat is the only one who notices that something creepy is going on in her new home. Pat wonders if it is all in her mind or if she could be possessed.
